Acts2fellowship (a2f) is a UCSD student ministry that meets every week to study the Bible and build lasting friendships. College is the perfect time to explore the big questions of life like, "Does God exist?" and "What am I here for?" At a2f, you'll find a safe place to ask those questions and seek answers alongside other college students. Throughout the week, we also hang out, eat lots of good food, study hard together, go on fun, memorable trips, and just “do life” together. So whether you are a Christian who wants to grow in your faith, or someone simply curious about what Christianity is all about, we welcome you to join us!
What is a Life Group? Picture a place where you find other students you can build relationships with and learn about God’s purpose for us in a small group setting. We start off with a home-cooked meal and discuss life questions and various topics posed from the Bible. Think of Life Group as that home-away-from-home, where you can be yourself around friends, lean on someone during a hard week, and get recharged by God’s word (and maybe some boba too).
We meet on Friday evenings by class, starting with a home-cooked meal followed by an in-depth Bible study. Together, we talk about what it means for us to take our Christian lives seriously in our college context. Afterwards we do all sorts of fun things together, including anything from playing sports, grabbing ice cream, to having a bonfire at the beach!
Not just any community, but one based on the early church found in Acts chapter 2 of the Bible. It’s a tall order, but as we try to live it out, we find it looks a lot like stopping by each others' homes, celebrating birthdays together, bringing comfort food when someone’s sick, and getting to know one another on a deeper level as we share in day-to-day life throughout college. Don't let four years slip by without stopping by!
